F.A.Q.
- Where do you ride the Aerorider?
The answer depends where you live. In Europe the Aerorider is considered a moped, but traffic legislation varies per country. In the Netherlands you can often use the bicycle lanes. In Germany you can’t. In the USA, where the top speed is limited to 20MPH, the Aerorider is considered to be a bicycle, so you can go wherever you can go with your bicycle. In New Zealand you can use cycle paths and normal roads but not motorways.
- Do I have to pay road tax?
In most countries you don't have to pay road tax for mopeds.
- Does the Aerorider need insurance?
In Europe you’ll need liability insurance similar to moped insurance.
